Homemade Cards

I love the thought, care and personal touch of a homemade card. I first started making homemade birthday cards around 6 years ago and with every single one I’ve given, peoples faces light up when they ask if I made it myself, it shows you’ve put in time and effort just for them.
I also love the creative process when putting a card together.
So I went out and bought a load of card embellishments and a few kits.

Of course, if you don’t want to, you don’t need to invest in lots of card making tools, you could instead design something on the computer...

or test your drawing skills....

or try your hand at origami...

Remember, it is a handmade card, so it doesn't matter if it doesn't look like the cards in the shop, it's not supposed to!

The great thing about homemade cards is that you can tailor them specifically to the individual you are making the card for; adding jokes between you two or photos of you both.
You can also make it as simple or as complicated as you want to.

Why not give it a go?
