Moments

The Friday just gone, I woke up with renewed creative energy.
(Metaphorical) sparks were flying! Everything was (metaphorically) sunny! (- it was raining). Anyway, I thought about something I'd recently written, about why I fell in love with photography in the first place. And that was the ability capture moments.
We will never live exactly the same moment ever again. How beautiful is that?
The big moments though, are always the ones that get talked about, always in the stories you tell - what about the little ones? I think in the end, they're the ones we miss the most. Because the big moments, you're satisfied with it being a one-time, special thing. But the little things, the things we experience all the time, we don't always realise their significance till they're no longer part of our norm.
Still in bed, I decided that I wanted to capture my day in moments.
Big or small. Whenever I felt inspired to.
At that point - on account of being present, following my heart and going with the flow, I had no plans for the day - ooh, a blank canvas!

Oh, apart from that it was pizza for dinner....

  4. Agree with you, Vanisha! Those little things make our life lively day by day and if they're gone we appreciate them even more. It's been quite rainy over here as well, glad you take the time instead to capture those little memorable moments. Love how artsy they turned out, Vanisha! Adorable impressions, sweetheart! <3
